Following the unexpected and astoundingly successful The Blair Witch Project, studios were quick to cash in with a lackluster sequel that abandoned the found-footage conceit that the original pioneered. While the film did provide a unique concept, insofar as the characters existed in a world where The Blair Witch Project was a successful movie, its convoluted script and shoddy acting made this one of the most uninspired sequels.
